Cookies are small text files, used by websites for a number of reasons, most commonly to remember user settings, or to record hits to webpages. We use a number of cookies on the GMPF website, each is set for a certain number of days, after which it will be deleted.
Cookies that we use
The table below shows all of the cookies we use, and why we use each one.
Cookie pop up closure
This cookie controls whether or not the cookie pop up appears in the bottom right corner of the screen. Once set, it has a life of 365 days.
These cookies are used by Google Analytics to help count the number of visits each page, and the site as a whole receives. This information is collected in an anonymous way, and it cannot be used to identify individuals, or see the pages any specific user has visited.
My Pension service
These cookies are used as session cookies to track a user's session id, and are essential for your use of the service. They only store an unique ID, and expire once you close your browser.
This cookie logs the preferred size of text that you would like to use throughout the website (using the 'Text size' controls in the top right corner). Once set, this cookie has a life of 365 days.
