Being a responsible investor is important to us. We strive to make decisions and create policies that reflect our commitment to investing in the best interests of all our stakeholders and wider society.
We have developed an investment strategy to help us achieve this. We review this regularly and publish it in the form of an investment strategy statement. The statement sets out our beliefs and approach to all aspects of how we invest.

Climate change
I want to ask about GMPF’s approach to climate change
Tackling climate change is the issue of greatest priority and importance to us when considering how we should invest. As environmental problems go, climate change is the biggest and most challenging issue we as human beings have ever had to face. The challenges are both complex and profound. As a world, these challenges aren’t something we can overcome quickly and easily, and as a pension fund the same thing applies, and it will take time for us all to make changes that result in a just transition to a zero carbon economy. However, we are already making those changes and are on a journey to meeting our climate change pledges.
